17. What happened to the shows/How is Cindy's family/What happened to them.
On Jan 21st I sent out this email.
"Hi all, just wanted to send out a quick update to let everyone know
what is happening right now. A couple of weeks ago Cindy's computer at work
crashed.
In order to be able to continue working she had to take her home computer
(where she stores and creates all of her slide shows)
into work ... this means that she currently has no way to send
out shows for you guys.
On top of all of this - her husband is about to go into hospital, and Cindy
will not
have time to put together any shows and send them out for the next couple of
weeks.
No - We are not going away ..
Yes - we will be back as soon as possible ..
We hope to be able to start sending out the shows again in 2-3 weeks time.
Thanks for your continued support and for your patience. "
Cindy followed up on Jan 24th with this explanation/clarification.
Long story short........
My son donated his kidney to my husband on Wednesday the 23rd at 9am.
As of now they are both doing well. They were excellent matches and both in
great health prior to the surgery, with the exception of my husbands renal
failure.
So far his body is accepting the kidney YEAH!!
I hope to get my computer back home next week, as well as my son and hubby!!
They both should be discharged on Saturday if all continues as it is.
I miss making and sending the shows as well.
Please have some patience, and Pete will do a great job on his end till my
return.
